Excited fans eagerly expressed their joy, flooding social media platform X – formerly recognised as Twitter – with praise for Josie, 39, who stepped back into the spotlight after being away from the staple morning show for several months.

The much-loved host has been bsent for a considerable period, having been tied up with her new Channel 5 venture titled First Class Travel and another series diving into the gastronomic world of the 1970s, reports the Mirror.

During an interview with Lancs Live, Josie shed light on her recent projects, sharing: “I’ve been filming a show about the 1970s, that is again for Channel 5. It’s not like a diet show, but like an investigative [one], like how they were eating in the 1970s.”
Josie Gibson might be the face of a new food series, yet surprisingly, she’s not impressed by the cuisine featured on the show, slamming it as “bl***y awful.”
The former Big Brother winner is keeping details about her new project under wrapsboth its name and official release date remain secret. However, hints suggest the programme will grace Channel 5 sometime in January.

Previously in September, Josie moved her fans when she declared she would take a break from regular appearances to focus on upcoming projects.
Nonetheless, she assured loyal followers that shed return in December, promising: “I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can.”
