lan Halsall has admitted what was ‘not easy’ to face while taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here as he gave fans a glimpse at what viewers didn’t see.

The Coronation Street star was among the 12 famous faces who took part in the ITV reality show this year. While he was among the favourites in camp, actor Alan was the seventh campmate to leave the jungle, just behind TikTok star GK Barry, in a double elimination days before the final.

The freshend-up campmates have since been reunited after I’m A Celeb’s 2024 series came to an end on Sunday (December 8), celebrating Danny Jones being crowned king of the jungle after he beat Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles in the final.

Following the big wrap party, which will feature in the I’m A Celebrity Coming Out show on ITV this Friday (December 13), the celebrities have been seen heading home back to the UK.

Alan revealed on Tuesday (December 11) that he was heading from Brisbane to Manchester alonside Danny, Coleen, Richard, Barry McGuigan, Melvin Odoom and show hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly as he gave a glimpse into their luxurious flight that included access to a bar.

To kill some time while being desperatley excited to be reunited with his daughter, Sienna, Alan took part in an Instagram Q&A and encouraged his followers to quiz him on his time on the reality show.

One fan asked: “What was the worst trial you had to do?” to which the soap star, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in ITV’s Corrie, said: “Easily the biting pigs testicles/face in fish guts and biting into fish eyeballs (not wasy as a vegetarian).”

On the subject of being vegetarian, Alan was aksed if he had to eat meat while in the jungle but he confirmed:” No, they send a veggie equivalent (generally something very bland, plain tofu… etc.”

On what viewers don’t see, Alan was asked what was the funniest moment he had in the jungle or his highlught that wasn’t aired to which he said: “Definitely teaching Danny and Barry how to plait hair!!!” But one thing Alan couldn’t have spoken more highly about was his campmates.

Asked what his favourite experience in the jungle was, he replied: “My jungle family. I could have not wished for a better bunch of AMAZING people!” And when quizzed on if he had the chance to go into the jungle again if he would, he said: “No, I don’t think so. I don’t think ‘d ever find a jungle family like I had this year! Amazing people.”
