Until he sets foot on an NBA court in an official match, the Bronny James case will be debated.

For some, he is simply pushed by his father, for others he has the potential to have a great career.

And for Kiyan Anthony, Carmelo’s son, he is an inspiration.

Usually, when a player is selected 55th overall in a draft, no one talks about it, except for the fans of the franchise in question who wonder if he will one day have an impact on the roster.

Even Nikola Jokic, who is today considered the best player on the planet, started his career in complete anonymity after being taken in the second round.

This is what makes Bronny James unique in the history of the league.

Because he is the son of one of the two best players of all time, fans and observers alike expect him to work miracles from his first games.

In fact, the video of him training with former Lakers Talen Horton-Tucker is not going to help matters.

Contrary to what some people want to believe after the Summer League, Bronny James has talent and is capable of holding his own against NBA players.

Moreover, at 19, he is already an inspiration for many young people like Carmelo Anthony’s son.

Presented as the best teenager in New York, Kiyan paid a nice tribute to LeBron Jr.:

It’s really cool to see Bronny get drafted by the Lakers. It’s proof that anyone can do it. I’m next in line, I know I can do it. I’m really happy for him and I’ve congratulated him already.

Taken out of context, this little sentence could be seen as an attack on Bronny, as if he were just some random player who ended up in the NBA by chance.

But what he means is that you can be the son of a league legend, a multi-millionaire, and still find the motivation to sacrifice a part of your life to achieve your dream.

Bronny James will likely be the most talked-about rookie of the season, which is unusual for a second-rounder. The good news is that he can inspire an entire generation with a solid performance.
