There was a shock departure on I’m A Celebrity 2024 on Monday night, as Tulisa Contostavlos looked visibly taken aback to be leaving the jungle.
On her way out of camp, Tulisa told Ant and Dec it was “hard in there” and she found jungle life tough as she put on a brave face and said she was excited to have some pizza after weeks of rice and beans.
“You’re just going to be more grateful for everything. The food you eat, the people that you love… you don’t realise how good you’ve got it,” Tulisa told the hosts. She also said it was “testing” in there, but she stayed true to herself.

Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday morning, Tulisa shared more details of her time in the I’m A Celebrity jungle as she hinted that not all of her famous friends were being as authentic as she had been.
When asked by Lorraine if she feels as though she’s made friends for life in the jungle, Tulisa paused before she said: “I feel like I have with some of them. I think they will be friends for life. But a lot of people for the cameras were being very pally pally but the real test will be when everyone is out. Will they make the effort to send texts in the group chat? Will they do the four hour drives to see each other? We’ll see…” she mused.
Lorraine then asked the N-Dubz singer who she would like to win the show this year with Tulisa not hesitating with her answer.

Tulisa said Oti Mabuse is her number one after the pair grew close while in the jungle. “Oti is just a pure soul. She’s amazing and people like her are hard to come by.”
The singer also revealed that she was closest to Alan Halsall, Maura Higgins, and Melvin Odoom in the jungle and would love to see them and Oti in the final four.
On hearing Tulisa was out, fans admitted they weren’t expecting it. One fan said: “So surprised that Tulisa is the one gone.” Another commented: “Tulisa should’ve been a finalist,” as a third added: “WHO THE ACTUAL F**K VOTED FOR TULISA.”
“OMG nooooo not Tulisa!!!! She didn’t get a proper chance. This makes me so sad,” another added. “Tulisa was one of the strongest character’s in the jungle this year. There are so many big personalities in there and I feel like we didn’t get to see her shine. Such a shame,” someone else echoed.
Speaking on ITV spin off Unpacked after the main show, Ant and Dec said they were “really shocked” when they realised Tulisa Contostavlos would be leaving.
The pair both asked: “Who saw that coming? Not me!” Dec said she was a “big” and “integral” part of the show this year, as Ant confessed: “That was a real shock for me that was.”
Dec went on to say: “It’s so hard to call it this year. There’s people at home going I like them all, I don’t know who to vote for, I’ll vote for this person tonight,” suggesting viewers wrongly believed campmates would be safe.
