At just nine years old Princess Charlotte has already become somewhat of a style icon in her own right, from her chic outfits and signature luxurious locks.

Charlotte’s mum, Princess Kate, has been the ultimate hair icon for decades thanks to her thick, bouncy hair being nothing short of an inspiration for many.

And now it seems that Charlotte is becoming just as famous as her mother for her long Rapunzel-like hair.

The fashionable royal was seen wearing her pulled half back in two plaits tied together at the bottom with a cute ribbon during the festive period.

Charlotte’s highly popular and natural ‘bronde’ hair shade has become somewhat of a hit as the young princess’ hair appears to get lighter towards the ends and contains a mixture of mid-toned blonde hues.

And many eager eyed royal fans have noticed Charlotte’s natural hair colour somewhat resembles none other than Hailey Bieber’s new lighter hair shade.

The wife of Justin Bieber, who previously said she has gone “lighter for fall” has opted for a lighter blonde shade courtesy of her hair colourist Matt Rez.

If you’re looking to emulate Charlotte’s gorgeous hair colour, Matt told Harper’s Bazaar to “ask for a multi-tonal ‘bronde’ colour.

He said: “It requires a couple of different colour formulas being used in the process to create a proper ‘bronde’ result,” he explained.

“Without the warmer connecting midlights in the mix, brondes and most colours look flat and bounce less light. To get that glowing hair colour, ask for midlights to also be weaved in.”

During the annual Christmas walkabout Charlotte sent royal fans into a frenzy with her confident mannerisms even agreeing to a royal fan’s request for a selfie.

The same lady who called over the young royal for a selfie also gave the nine-year-old a sweet compliment, telling her “You’re gorgeous” to which Charlotte sweetly replied thank you before walking away towards her dad Prince William.
