Nick Knowles has confirmed his TV comeback after he was forced to drop out of Strictly Come Dancing after two nightmare injuries.
The DIY SOS host, 62, sustained a shoulder injury when he was changing a tyre on his car and then a failed knee jump during a dance rehearsal left him on crutches and needing surgery.
However, Nick will return to TV screens in the New Year for another series of his travel show Amazing Railway Adventure.
An insider told The Sun: ‘It’s clear viewers enjoy a railway during Christmas, given the sheer amount of shows on right now across multiple channels, it’s escapism television.
‘Another adventure was recorded well before Nick signed up to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
‘It’s been kept on the shelf by bosses but will be broadcast at some point next year in a prime time slot.’
