This Morning viewers were not impressed as Cat Deeley’s “annoying” habit took centre stage as she hosted alongside Ben Shephard on the ITV show.

As Cat and Ben enjoyed a cooking session from Nisha Katona on how to make a classic chicken korma, viewers grumbled they wouldn’t watch the show again thanks to Cat.

The presenter was accused of “constantly talking over” both her guests and Ben, as fans rushed to social media to share their frustration.

One said: “Omg Cat STOP talking over her it’s SO rude!”

Another agreed: “Cat doesn’t have the professionalism to know how to fill empty air – she just witters and makes nervous s**t jokes.”

A third chimed in: “Have not watched This Morning for a while but OMG does this woman Cat never stops interrupting. Don’t think I will be watching again soon.”

A fourth wrote: “Cat, this is not about you. Let her speak!!! Someone tell her in the earpiece.”

But one fan previously said: “Used to love watching cat with ant and Dec on SMTV and still absolutely love watching her on this show. Still as stunning and kind as always.”

It comes after Cat and Ben congratulated their This Morning co-star Nick Ferrari on his engagement on Monday, as Cat stopped the show for a “breaking news” announcement.

Nick told them: “I am engaged to be wed to Claire. We had the most idyllic Christmas and we’d been to Lapland and had a brilliant time.

“Then we were down in the South of France and after ten years together I said she can make an honest man out of me.”

Nick continued: “I did it at our favourite restaurant in the South of France and I wanted her to play a role in designing her engagement ring.

“So we went along to a DIY store and kept getting down on one knee.”
