Ant McPartlin is making full use of his free Saturday nights to spend time with his wife after he and co-host Declan Donnelly ended their popular weekend gameshow

Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett enjoyed a night out together in the Saturday Night Takeaway star’s native Newcastle.

The 48-year-old TV star has been married to his former assistant Anne-Marie since 2021 and they welcomed their son, named Wilder, back in May. Ant and his 46-year-old wife looked in good spirits as they were spotted leaving a swish restaurant in the Quayside neighbourhood of The Toon.

Clearly Ant loves to keep his personal life linked to ITV as the restaurant he and his wife dined in is owned by non-other than This Morning chef Gino D’Acampo. The couple were joined by one of Anne-Marie’s two teenage daughters – who she shared with her ex-husband Scott Corbett.

Ant and Anne-Marie coordinated their looks by donning black clothes and denim pieces. The I’m A Celeb host sported a denim shirt and black trousers, while Anne-Marie inverted the style by wearing blue jeans and a black top. They both layered up with black coats.

The parents looked fresh considering they have a four-month-old son. Earlier this year, Ant explained that he was happy to have sleepless nights now he is a father.

He told the Daily Star: ‘I’m really good, I’m really happy. There are lots of nappies and sleepless nights but it’s absolutely wonderful. I’m loving it. It’s been the best year.

Baby Wilder arrived just as Ant and his long-running co-star Declan Donnelly, 48, hung up their microphones on their insanely popular weekend entertainment show, Saturday Night Takeaway. The boys revealed last year that the 2024 season would be the last as they longed to spend their weekends with their families.

Ant said in a statement in May last year: “On a more personal level, part of the reason we’re pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We’ve both got children we need to spend time with for a little bit. We need time to think and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now.”

While Ant and Anne-Marie have just one biological child together, he has taken her two daughters under his wing since he got married. Meanwhile, Dec has been married to talent manager Ali Astall since 2015 and together they share two children of their own.

Their daughter, Isla, arrived back in September 2018 while their son, Jack, was welcomed in July 2022. When Ant welcomed Widler, it was reported that he turned to Dec for parenting tips.

A source told OK! at the time: “Dec is obviously so excited for Ant and has already been giving him advice – mainly how to deal with sleepless nights. He can’t wait to take on the role of godfather and he’s promised to take his duties very seriously.”
