Janette Manrara couldn’t hide her delight as she was seen being reunited with one of her friends and Strictly Come Dancing co-stars this week.
The show’s former pro dancer and current spin-off show It Takes Two host is currently gearing up to hit the road with a number of the BBC One dance contest’s class of 2024 as she hosts the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour.
But one person who isn’t joining her co-stars for the string of arena shows is Nadiya Bychkova. While a number of her co-stars have reunited this week to prepare for the tour, the dancer is sitting the string of shows out and is instead focusing on her own projects.
She is set to hit the road herself with her upcoming tour, A Special Evening with Nadiya Bychkova, which begins in February and comes after she enjoyed a joint tour in 2023 with her Strictly co-star and now ex-boyfriend Kai Widdrington.
But amidst their busy schedules, it appears Janette and Nadiya found time to reunite and Janette took to Instagram with a sweet pic of the beaming pair. She captioned the post on Instagram: “Has to be done, whenever we hang out. Love you.”
Nadiya was quick to respond, as she wrote in the comments section: “Love you more. Always special times. Grateful.” Fans of the pair were also happy to see the two stars together.

The dancer has previously spoken about the end of the relationship after the couple quietly went their separate ways. Last year, she revealed things are still frosty between her and her ex, who began dating in 2022 and earlier in 2024, ahead of returning to the BBC One dance content for the most recent series.
Appearing on Loose Women on Thursday (January 9) to chat about her upcoming solo tour, she said of her and Kai’s split: “Well I don’t think any break up is easy but we are professionals so we obviously knew we would have to go back on Strictly and work together and that’s what we did.”
She added: “In life it’s about how you’re dealing with things. There’s so much thrown at us and you need to deal with things. Maybe at some point we’ll be able to talk more about things but right now it’s all about the tour.”
