Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is due to return later this year but during a chat on GMB, two ITV stars revealed they had turned down the reality show, known to be gruelling.
Two presenters seen on Good Morning Britain brutally turned down Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and one of them even admitted they had “no regrets” over the snub.
Bosses for the Channel 4 programme lifted the lid on the first two celebrity contestants due to take part in the show later this year, leaving Richard Arnold to update his Good Morning Britain co-stars this Monday, September 9. The entertainment reporter, 54, revealed who was due to join the star-studded line-up, which includes Pete Wicks, who had to withdraw from the series in 2022 following an injury. His return to the show has caused chaos backstage as he was also announced to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
But while Richard Arnold said that he would “love” to face the army challenges on Celebrity SAS, Ranvir Singh confessed that she’d once been approached by producers for a stint in the programme.

Ranvir added: “I was like ‘I’m happy for it all to be stayed buried for a bit.’ They don’t need to know the real me!”, prompting Ed to bluntly admit: “I said no. I have no regrets.”
This comes after Celebrity SAS bosses confirmed John Barrowman and Rachel Johnson would appear in this year’s edition of the show. The Doctor Who star and the journalist were tipped to star in Celebrity SAS 2024 back in July, 2023, as The Sun leaked an apparent list of celebrities ready to face harsh environments in the programme’s ruthless two-week-long training course.
But soon after, it was alleged that John, 57, had thrown in the towel following a difficult first task. Claims he later dismissed in a scathing social media post, calling out tabloids.
As mentioned, TOWIE star Pete signed up for the upcoming season of the BBC One competition and was announced in the line-up last August. But in signing up for the dancing show, he’s unintentionally waged war with Celebrity SAS producers, according to recent reports.
Pete filmed for the challenge show in New Zealand for the second time, as he was forced to withdraw from the series due to broken ribs. The show is set to air this September, just as Pete is due for his Strictly debut. The lothario’s stint in the BBC show is the second time SAS: WDW has been trumped by a rival programme. Back in 2022, MP Matt Hancock flew to the I’m A Celebrity jungle, a year before his own stint in the Channel 4 series was aired.
