I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers are convinced show host Ant McPartlin doesn’t like Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullogh after noticing a savage remark during the last trial
Ant McPartlin took a savage swipe at Dean McCullough at the end of the latest Bushtucker Trial.
I’m A Celebrity viewers were in stitches on Monday (November 25) when they watched ITV host Ant tell the Radio 1 DJ that he wouldn’t be following him on Instagram. Ant recently admitted he’d gone too hard on Dean during the latest series of the ITV show.
Ant said he felt his behaviour towards Dean had been ‘unprofessional’, having told the broadcaster to “try harder” when the DJ ended a trial early. Ant also complained it was ‘not good’ when Dean was applauded for getting just four stars.
Ant said on spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked: “My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional. You get to the point where you’re like: ‘What are you doing?'”

The host insisted he would be more kind to wards Dean in any future trials. However, it seems he couldn’t resist taking another pop at him during the Jack and the Scream Stalk trial last night. Dean managed to get twelve stars, a much better effort.
Ant and Dec praised the presenter, joking that he’d even managed to get a round of applause out of him for his success in the trial. Dean cheekily joked: “Next thing you’ll be following me on Instagram.”

Ant savagely replied: “No, no, that’s not going to happen.” Fans of the show were in fits of giggles over Ant’s brutal put down.
One fan wrote: “Dean asking for an Instagram follow off Ant and getting burnt ‘that ain’t gonna happen’,” alongside a series of laughing emojis. A second commented: “Ant made it crystal clear—he won’t be hitting that follow button for Dean on Instagram.

It comes after Ant complained about the Dean’s frequent appearances in the trials. On the spin-off show on Sunday, he insisted it was nothing personal to Dean but that he wanted to see other celebrities take on the trials.
Facing the camera, he said: “Let’s all have a serious talk, I’m going to look directly at the camera here. I think it’s good to see other faces down there [in the trial area].
“It’s not a personal thing, it’s not about Dean, it’s about us. We want to see different people on the show being featured. I’d like to see Barry do a trial, Melvin on there, Oti.
“We find this every year when someone gets voted in multiple times, you just get to a part where you go, ‘who’s still voting for Dean?’ I don’t get it.”
Dec added: “I think we all know how he’s gonna react and how he’s gonna do. I just wanna see someone else down there.”
