Coleen Rooney‘s proud mum Colette has opened up about her daughter’s incredible I’m a Celebrity stint in an emotional admission.
The WAG, 38, was reunited with her mum and two boys Kit, eight, and Cass, six, in camp during Saturday’s episode.
Over the past three weeks, Coleen has unknowingly won over viewers with her time in the jungle and has become a fan favorite to win.
However, during a touching moment with her mum, she revealed feeling nervous about how people back home might see her.
‘As I held her, one of the things she said to me was ‘mum, have I been boring?’ Colette says. ‘It broke my heart hearing that but I said, ‘no, you’ve been yourself and that’s all that matters.’
In a new interview, Colette shared that Coleen’s jungle adventure has been exactly what she needed after a challenging two years dominated by her High Court battle.

Watching her on screen, Colette feels the show has brought back her daughter’s energy and zest for life.
Asked what it was like as a mum seeing her daughter struggle during this time, she told the Mirror: ‘Horrendous, because at one time during the trial, we lost Coleen.
‘Coleen wasn’t Coleen. She couldn’t be herself. We didn’t know before the trial what was going on because she didn’t tell us. We noticed a difference in her behaviour, in her attitude, she even distanced herself.
‘So when it all came out, it was a relief for us, really, because then we knew what was going on. But now we’ve got her back fully.’
Coleen has made it to the final four along with Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, and Reverend Richard Coles.
During her first week in the jungle, Coleen spoke about her Wagatha Christie trial for the first time on the show.
Despite rival WAG Rebekah Vardy ‘vowing to call in the lawyers’ if Coleen mentions the Wagatha Christie case in the jungle, she was more than happy to chat about the ‘nightmare’ trial.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were quick to poke fun at her recent legal battle with Rebekah, joking early in the launch show that there would be ‘plenty more’ to come.

Emotional Coleen reunited with her sons in I’m A Celeb camp as she confessed ‘I’ve missed you so much’
Coleen insisted the trial ‘wasn’t a joke to her’ as she confided in her campmates GK Barry, Jane Moore and Dean McCullough.
Wagatha Christie is the popular name given to Coleen and Rebekah’s £1.8 million court case, which culminated in a 2022.
It began when Coleen put a widely-shared post on Instagram which accused Rebekah of leaking ‘false stories’ about her private life to the press.
Rebekah denied the allegations and sued Coleen for libel, but the case – dubbed the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial – found in Coleen’s favour, and left Rebekah liable to pay £1.5 million towards Coleen’s legal fees.
As the four sat around the creek getting to know one another, Dean took the opportunity once again to bring up the infamous case.
He said: ‘Can you imagine if Princess Diana would have done a Wagatha Christie!’
Jane told Coleen: ‘That was epic though what you did!’
Asked by GK if she was scared of posting it [the post which accused Rebekah of leaking stories], Coleen insisted she wasn’t.
She said: ‘No because I just didn’t think it would have the impact it did, because I was just that sick and tired of it, it was draining.

‘It was the fact that it carried on and carried on, that was my worst nightmare for it to go to court. She took me to court. I felt ashamed going to court because I’m not the type to play things out in public.
‘That was my worst nightmare to go to court. I felt like it was like putting on a show for the whole world.
Coleen added: ‘I just felt like it was putting on a show for the whole world. I didn’t want that, I wanted to settle it before and get it done with.
‘What got me, over the whole thing, was it became a bit of a joke and that’s really disappointing, it wasn’t a joke for me.
