Good Morning Britain halted as Peter Andre forced to ‘correct’ Kate Garraway
Kate Garraway was halted on ITV Good Morning Britain today by Peter Andre as the I’m A Celebrity star was forced to correct her. Kate, was was hosting ITV Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley, welcomed the Mysterious Girl singer into the studio on the show on Wednesday (December 18).
During their chat, Kate claimed he would have a busy festive period due to having five kids. Kate, who is a mum of two herself, told the 51-year-old: “Listen, you’ve got a heck of a busy Christmas, now a father of five.”
Interrupting Kate, Pete said: “Technically six, but go on. Yeah, I’ve changed a lot of nappies in my time. Carry on, carry on.” Pete has three children with wife Emily and has two kids Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-wife Katie Price.
He is also stepfather to Katie’s eldest son, Harvey Price. “I’ve changed six sets of nappies in my adult life, I’m done.” Pete said. “They’re all very close, but Bista [Princess] is super close with Millie and really helpful with the baby, while Junior has a lovely connection with Theo”, he said.
“Ems and I aren’t “party parents” – we love being at home, cooking and hanging out with the kids. I’m more driven than ever with work, but I feel parent guilt like never before. Then I think, I’m doing this for their future as well, and I feel better again!”
Peter, 51, has always spoken lovingly of his children, including stepson Harvey, whom he’d once hoped to adopt. And he’s previously vowed to tell his kids the real reason why he and Katie, 46, parted ways – preferring that they hear it from him rather than read about it.
He said in 2009: “Something big happened, which I won’t reveal as I don’t want my kids reading it. But when I tell them, I’ll come on your show and reveal what actually happened.”
