I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Coming Out will see Dean McCullough and Melvin Odoom come face-to-face after their awkward exchange in the jungle
Tensions are set to escalate on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Coming Out as an uncomfortable conversation unfolds between Dean McCullough and Melvin Odoom.
Viewers are keenly awaiting the reunion show, which is scheduled for broadcast on Friday, December 13, at 9 p.m. on ITV1. The programme will reunite this year’s participants to discuss their post-jungle lives and experiences within the camp.
Yet, for Melvin and Dean, a former minor clash over camp responsibilities will be brought into the spotlight on air.
The pair decided to broach the subject after exiting the Australian jungle. Dean confronted Melvin: “I love how the whole Houdini popped off, the memes were brilliant.”
Melvin explained: “I don’t think people realised why that happened, I was busy doing the water thing, I just wanted you to help so I was thinking I’m just gonna drop this line with half the camp there, make everyone laugh,” reports Belfast Live.
Dean admitted the comment had stung him, confessing: “I wish you had told me, that upset me.”
To which Melvin responded: “If I’m trying to give someone a message, I always use humour, that’s my number one way of communicating with people, that’s essentially my weapon, and that’s all that was.”
Dean pressed further, revealing he had seen Melvin in the Bush Telegraph saying, ‘Oh, it’s another chore to ask Dean to do the chores’.”
Melvin remarked: “Me calling you Houdini was my way of telling you I need help, when we said, ‘Let’s do the water’, I came up the steps and you were having a shower, when I came down you were folding your clothes by the bed, by the time I said, ‘Houdini’ that was me saying, ‘I need help’.”

Dean expressed to Marvin his preference for discretion, stating, “Yeah, but just take me to the side.”
In an attempt to conclude their conversation positively, Melvin responded: “It’s a minor bro, it’s a minor, don’t worry about it.”
With a touch of humour, Dean added: “Yeah, tell that to the papers.”
To which Melvin assured: “Ok I’ll know for next time we’re in the jungle carrying buckets of water.”
The current season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out has received accolades from viewers, with many celebrating it as a breath of fresh air due to the camaraderie and teamwork displayed by most of the campmates.
