Dr Scott Miller, a regular on This Morning, has shared his experiences of the culture and workplace environment behind-the-scenes of the ITV show. Besides appearing on This Morning, Scott also hosts Channel 4’s Vet on the Hill.
He spoke highly of his colleagues on the popular daytime show, saying: “I’ve experienced support and kindness from the entire team, top to bottom.” He added that the production team are friends who excel at their jobs, and everyone on camera, the so-called This Morning family, are all great mates.
Responding to claims of This Morning being a “toxic workplace” with “bullying” behind the scenes, he said: “So it’s not my experience at all.” These accusations surfaced last year when a “large number” of current and former ITV employees made claims against the show.
However, Scott emphasised that this has not been his experience working on the show. He also revealed that he has remained friends with Holly after her departure from This Morning last year.
Speaking about the recent NTAs, he said: “And, you know, certainly it was great to be at the NTAs and although we didn’t win, we got to see Holly and she came and said hi and we got photos and, you know, she’s a great, a great lady.”
Scott and Holly were seen enjoying their public reunion at the 2024 National Television Awards, where he was representing This Morning.
