Rebekah Vardy could be set to let her fans into her home life with a brand new fly-on-the-wall style documentary with husband Jamie Vardy
Rebekah and Jamie Vardy could be about to show fans exactly what goes on behind closed doors in a new fly-on-the-wall series.
The couple are reportedly set to film a new Netflix series of Jamie’s story of his huge rise to success. The Leicester City man went from non-League Fleetwood Town player to Leicester City star and England player, with his story to be made into a documentary. It will also offer glimpses of his home life, including scenes with his wife, Rebekah.
The news comes after it was reported that Coleen Rooney has signed a Disney+ deal following her successful stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle. It’s claimed the show will follow Coleen, Wayne and their four young sons: Kai 14, Klay 11, Kit eight, and Cass, six. It’s thought Coleen bagged a cool £1.5million pay out for her appearance in the ITV show Down Under.

A source claimed that there had been a “huge bidding war” to get Coleen, with networks “desperate” to be the one to sign her. “ITV are the frontrunners to get her for Loose Women and she would love to do it, but Netflix are now coming in with some big-money offers – we’re talking offers of well over £1 million,” they told Closer.
Her hubby Wayne Rooney was also profiled by Prime Video, showing a rise in interest into the lives of the stars. Wayne’s series will be its own fly-on-the-wall style series about his tough time as Plymouth boss.
While Rebekah and Coleen have had a highly publicised legal battle with the Wagatha Christie case, Rebekah recently vowed it’s time to move on from the drama. In 2019, Coleen appeared to break the internet with her Wagatha Christie sting investigation which saw her post a slew of fake stories on her private Instagram page.
The High Court heard how Rebekah’s account was the only profile to be given access to see her posts. She continues to strongly deny the allegations made against her. During the expensive court battle, it was heard how Vardy’s former agent, Caroline Watt, may have been responsible for the leaks, having had access to her account.
Now, though, after Coleen’s jungle adventure, Rebakah praised the Liverpudlian. She wrote in her column for The Sun: “And Coleen finished second, Coleen has had a fab series, she has really done well and made herself proud.
“Yes, I know you’re all waiting for me to say otherwise, I’m sorry to disappoint, but it’s just not happening. It’s really, really time to move on and end the year with a positive.”
More than seven million people tuned in to watch Coleen narrowly beaten by Danny on I’m A Celebrity. The figures were a jump of around half a million over the finale last year.
