Ruth Langford made a very cheeky quip amid her divorce from husband Eamonn Holmes during Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women.

The presenter, 64, split from her GMB news host, also 64, after 14 years of marriage in May and he has since moved on with girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42.

During a discussion about antiques, the panel discussed whether they ‘hang onto old bits of tat’ or throw them out.

After admitting she was not a hoarder, Ruth quipped: ‘I’m throwing out a lot of stuff out at the minute!’ as the audience roared with laughter.

Eamonn spent the weekend with his girlfriend, cosying up for photos at a friend’s wedding.

The GB News star was a guest at his friend TV presenter Hayley Sparkes’ nuptials in Essex on Saturday, bringing Katie as his date.

Photos shared on Instagram by a mutual pal show a beaming Katie with Eamonn as they enjoyed the lavish reception with other guests, who included A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton.

Katie looked gorgeous in a strapless black dress with a white corsage, while a dapper Eamonn was in a blue suit.

Last month, she told friends she is in for ‘the long haul’ with Eamonn.

She has been helping Eamonn through the split from Ruth, but her friends say she is at pains to point out that they only grew close once the marriage was over in May.

Eamonn proved he was very much enjoying his new romance after the pair jetted off for a luxury holiday together over the summer.

The GB News presenter was also seen cheekily grabbing his new lover Katie’s bottom in Ibiza last month.

The getaway reportedly left Eamonn’s estranged wife Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing.

The Northern Irish presenter has been open about his new relationship with the pair pictured enjoying two holidays together over the summer.

In May it emerged Eamonn and Ruth had split after 14 years of marriage and were set to divorce. Cracks had started to appear in their relationship and they had not been photographed together for two years.

Katie met Eamonn on social media platform X in 2015 after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation.

Last October he att­ended a charity fundraising event in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and be­came a patron. Katie has worked for the charity as a therapist.

It was reported last month that Ruth has hired a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer amid the bitter split.

As reported by The Sun, Catherine Costley has been called up by Loose Women host Ruth who seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn, also 64, with a financial settlement.

Ms Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a ‘go bag’ fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun.

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of ‘Steel Magnolia’ Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain’s highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996.

Baroness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple’s divorce in 2008.

But despite the bitter split, on Monday – only one day after her cheeky quip about ‘old tat,’ Ruth was seen wearing her wedding ring as she led the daytime show’s panel.

Meanwhile Ruth has been finding support in her beloved pals and enjoyed a boozy night over the weekend with friends Rylan Clark and Lizzie Cundy.

The trio let their hair down during an ‘epic’ karaoke night in as the evening was documented by Lizzie, 56.

The stunning socialite shared a look at the lavish house party on Instagram – where she enjoyed the company of Ruth, host Rylan, 35, and his cousin Kimberley Morgan.

The former WAG took to her Stories capturing the joyful moments, recording Rylan and Ruth showing off their vocal skills during an emotional performance of Diana Ross and Lionel Richie‘s Endless Love.

Sharing a video of the song with her followers, Lizzie wrote: ‘What a duet’.

They all posed up for a stunning group picture which Lizzie also shared on her Instagram grid cherishing her beloved pals.
