Strictly Come Dancing viewers all have the same COMPLAINT just minutes into the show as they vent ‘IT’S GETTING RIDICULOUS NOW’

Strictly Come Dancing fans all had the same complaint as the show returned on Saturday night with the first ever Icons Week special.

Viewers took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on fancy dress happening two weeks in a row.

With Halloween week last week and Saturday night’s show being dedicated to Icons, the contestants as well as the judges could not resist going all out on their costumes.

One fan posted ‘We don’t need fancy dress EVERY week’, and another fan replied saying ‘I agree, it’s getting ridiculous now’.

One fan penned ‘Icon Week feels a step too far. Fancy dress 2 weeks in a row is a bit much’.

Whereas another suggested having a ‘Old School’ Week, where contestants have to dance ‘without any props, fancy dress, extra lifts or faffing about’.

Another stating ‘less dressing up, more dancing please’.

Another viewer was quick to point out that neither presenters, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were in costume.

The hosts don’t dress up after Claudia’s daughter’s witch Halloween costume caught fire leaving her with severe burns on her leg when she was just eight in 2014.

Since the ‘life-changing’ accident, Claudia has become a staunch campaigner for safety and regulations around the Halloween period and quality control on the materials used and flammable nature of outfits.

During this week’s live show, Anton attempted to dress up as Sir Rod Stewart but viewers couldn’t work out it out at all.

He looked completely unrecognisable in a blond wig, while sporting a vibrant leopard print suit.

Shirley Ballas transformed into Cher as she sported a dramatic black wig and risqué glitzy bodysuit.

While Motsi Mabuse looked incredible as Tina Turner and Craig Revel Horwood transformed into Barry Gibb.

Taking to X, some fans admitted the judge looked more like Charlie Mullins than the British rock legend, 74.
