Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks and pro partner Jowita Przystal are tipped to miss the final of the BBC dance series.
Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks and his pro partner Jowita Przystal are set to miss out on the grand final of the hit BBC dance show according to the latest odds.
Now, with the semi-final looming on Saturday, the pair have been tipped to finally make their exit this Sunday, when up against Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, and Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola.
Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal could fall at the final hurdle
Pete and Jowita have been given odds of 8/15 to leave the competition this weekend, with JB Gill next in line at 3/1, Tasha at 12/1 and Chris at 20/1.
But Pete has been beating the odds for weeks.
Gambling.com TV Expert James Leyfield said: “Has Wicks’ time run out? TOWIE star Pete Wicks is the 8/15 odds-on favourite to exit the competition this weekend.
“If Pete survives once again, then JB Gill could be in the firing line. The JLS singer is the 3/1 second favourite to go home on Sunday night.
“The Strictly Come Dancing celebrities will face two dances apiece in this weekend’s semi-final, as the pressure increases in their bid to make the finale.”
It comes after Pete opened up about the ‘abuse’ he’s faced online from fans questioning why he’s still in the contest despite his low scores.
Pete Wicks has fired back after abuse but could miss the final
He told Janette Manrara on Strictly It Takes Two: “Yeah, I mean criticism is probably a light word, I think abuse might be better. But it is what it is, you can’t please everyone and I’m not here to please everyone I’m just trying to learn something, I’m just a bloke that is having a go at something.
“And if I listened to all the negative stuff then I wouldn’t get out of bed in the morning.
“But on the plus side, there’s been loads of other lovely things said. It is what it is.”
