Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland issued an apology to fans after they hadn’t been active on social media this week due to training.

In an Instagram video, Chris told fans: “We haven’t been around for a couple of days, why is that Di?” Dianne replied: “Why is that?”

Chris said: “Because what I have been doing? Been working…hard,” as Dianne struggled to guess what he was doing to say.

He continued: “We’ve been working hard, and we just ran out of time at the end of the day to do anything.” Dianne chimed in: “We wanted to jump on and say hello, number one, but also we’ve been sent so much stuff from people and wanted to say a big thank you to everyone.

“We’ve also received lots of letters from everyone which I have been reading to Chris, so we just wanted to say thank you.

Meanwhile, whilst Chris and Dianne have become bookies’ favourites with their dazzling performances, a twist in predictions has emerged.

Fresh analysis hints at EastEnders favourite Jamie Borthwick stealing the spotlight from Chris and Dianne for the ultimate prize. A Supercomputer from BonusCodeBets.co.uk, which had previously pinpointed long-shot Hamza Yassin as 2022’s champion, crunched the data covering all former 21 winners.

The average victor is a 31 year old male actor, and Jamie fits this winning mould perfectly in terms of gender, job, and age. Historical statistics show actors leading the victory charge with seven triumphs out of 21 seasons.

Ellie Leach and Kelvin Fletcher are among those who’ve lifted the trophy before, while initially Tasha Ghouri, an ex-Love Island star, led the odds but now lags behind Chris McCausland, according to Wales Online.

A representative from BonusCodeBets.co.uk couldn’t contain their excitement, stating: “Jamie Borthwick has danced his way back into the spotlight after a show-stopping performance in week five that sent him straight to the top of the leaderboard.”

According to the latest predictions, Jamie is the one to beat, with the Supercomputer having tipped him for success from the very start. “Our Supercomputer predicted him as the one to watch before the first step was even danced, and now he’s proving to be the real deal. Looks like the only thing more accurate than Jamie’s footwork is our algorithm! “.

Meanwhile, the competition said goodbye to Punam Krisnan last weekend after she landed in the bottom two alongside Shayne Ward. Following a tense dance-off, the judges decided to give Shayne another chance, sending Punam packing.

As the competition heats up, fans are left wondering: who will be the next to leave Strictly Come Dancing?
