Strictly’s Janette Manrara corrected by Anton Du Beke in GUEST JUDGE BLUNDER

Strictly Come Dancing’s It Takes Two host Janette Manrara was corrected by Anton Du Beke during Thursday’s episode as she made a royal blunder

Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show, It Takes Two, was briefly paused on Thursday night when Anton Du Beke highlighted an awkward royal blunder.

During the most recent episode, presenter Janette Manrara quizzed judges Anton, 58, and Craig Revel Horwood with a series of fan questions. One viewer queried: “If you could have a guest judge for one show only, who would you choose?” to which Craig, 59, responded: “I would choose Queen Camilla!”, reports The Mirror.

“Yes because she knows what she’s talking about! I think she’d be great” as Janette, 40, noted that she’s a “big fan” of the dance programme. Craig added: “Yeah, she loves the show, and also, she does know what she’s talking about as she’s a really brilliant dancer! I would love her on the show!”

Janette then asked: “Is this a campaign? Shall we try and get her on? If you’re watching, we’d love you, madam!” However, Anton quickly corrected Janette’s use of “madam” by repeating, “Ma’am!” to which Janette apologised, saying, “Ma’am! Sorry, sorry!” while Anton and Craig chuckled over the incorrect use of “madam”.

This follows Nick Knowles’ appearance on Monday’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two after his departure from the show.

The DIY SOS star, 62, was the third celebrity to be eliminated from the 20th anniversary series of the popular BBC One dance show on Sunday night. This comes as Nick made a comeback to the dance competition last weekend, having missed movie week due to a knee injury.

Appearing on Monday’s show, Nick’s pro partner, Luba Mushtuk, broke down in tears as the duo watched an emotional montage of their best moments on the show. A tearful Luba, 34, emotionally said after the sweet video: “Yes”, before composing herself.

Elsewhere during the interview, Nick had a five-word response over his show exit, saying: “It was the right result!” He explained: “I had a week off and you can see actually everyone had progressed a lot in that week, I just didn’t have time to be able to catch up and do well enough to stay in the competition.

“I think it was the right result in the end, and it means I can now get the various bits of me that are falling off sorted out. Literally, I might have an operation on the arm this week and then another operation on the knee in a couple or three weeks’ time. So I can get myself sorted!”
