The Chase’s Bradley Walsh HALTS show to ask ‘WHAT HAPPENED’ amid CONCERN for Shaun Wallace

Quizzer Shaun Wallace appeared on a brand new episode of The Chase looking somewhat different as presenter Bradley Walsh became concerned.

Presenter Bradley Walsh halted ITV’s The Chase this evening (December 1) as a brand new episode aired. The ITV host showed concern for his fellow co-star, quizzer Shaun Wallace, as he asked: “What happened?”

Four new contestants – Greg, Jemma, Rachel and Reuben – were welcomed onto the quiz show as they put their general knowledge skills to the test. They all shared that they hoped they would be up against Shaun – and they were.

Baffled, Bradley laughed: “He’s so popular everyone asks for him.” He addressed the Chaser as he continued: “Why are you so popular? Here he comes, the one and only Dark Destroyer himself.”

However, the ITV star appeared to be rocking a new look. He was missing one key item in his appearance – his glasses.

Shaun pointed at the player, policeman Greg, as he accusingly said: “Look, that’s him. The man who stole my glasses and my jokes.” Looking concerned, Bradley halted normal proceedings for a minute as he quizzed: “What’s happened?”

The Chaser chucked as he explained: “I sat on them.” But Brad seemed genuinely worried for his co-star as he said: “What, seriously? You sat on your glasses?

“What are they for? Long or short?” Shaun replied: “Short,” as Bradley caringly continued: “Do you want to borrow mine?”

But Shaun laughed it off, saying: “You’ve got to be joking. I’d look like Mr Magoo!”

A few weeks ago, Bradley Walsh addressed an ongoing problem on the ITV show – consistent low offers. He hit out at a player on a brand new episode of The Chase this evening, urging them “not to be ridiculous”.

The ITV quiz show presenter addressed a “problem” highlighted by fans as he scalded the contestant in jest.

It came as one player took a low offer before “cheekily” telling another to “go high”. He said: “Rather cheeky from me, Kim, but I really think you can bring the £70,000 back. That was an amazing cashbuilder.”

Bradley was awestruck as he told the player off, saying: “Don’t be ridiculous Jason. Mr ‘two grand I’m a gambler’. Ok then.” Jason saw the funny side as he threw his head back in laughter.

Referring back to the table, Brad read out the amounts once more as he added in another jibe, saying: “Take no notice of Jason, what do you think?”

Kim admitted: “It’s very tempting to go for £70,000. I’m going to go for £70,000. You only come here once.” Her team mates applauded her and the ITV host shook her hand as he said: “You’ve got to! That’s the way you go, isn’t it Jason?”
