Strictly Come Dancing fans have spotted a serious professional clash for one of the show judges.
Motsi Mabuse shares sadness as Strictly series nears an end
Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced one of the judges of the BBC Saturday night show is getting set to exit the show after spotting a “clue”. Motsi Mabuse, 43, is also a judge on German version of Strictly called Let’s Dance, a role she has held since 2011 having originally joined the programme as a dancer in 2007. Just like the UK counterpart there is a live tour following the TV show finale and some of the dates clash with the Strictly Saturday night broadcasts.
Raising the issue on social media one fan wrote: “Has anyone seen Motsi’s Let’s Dance 2025 Tour Dates? Is she out for Strictly 2025? 11/1, Saturday 11/8, Saturday 11/15, Saturday 11/22, Saturday 11/29, Saturday. That is 5 weeks of Strictly lives. It seems she is leaving Strictly?? THOUGHTS?”
However another fan chimed in to point out this isn’t the first time there has been a clash. “This is what happens every year: they announce the dates, and then later they clarify who will be on the tour and which shows Motsi will miss. She could still be leaving, but this isn’t evidence of that,” they said.

South African native Motsi still lives in Germany with her dancer husband, Evgenij Voznyuk, and their daughter where she co-owns and manages the Motsi Mabuse Dance school.

Speaking on This Morning she said show bosses had been slow to revert to her leading to nerves about taking on the hife role.
“One day I was watching and it said, ‘Darcey stopped’ and so I called Oti and said, ‘What’s happening over there?’ And she said, ‘We don’t know.’
“And I made a joke and said, ‘They should call me!’ And we both laughed. And then like three or four weeks later, I called her back and said, ‘They called me.’ And we laughed again.” However she continued saying she was left in the lurch as to whether or not she had landed the important role.
“The longer they kept me waiting, the more I didn’t want to do it anymore,” she confessed, “because then I got nervous because then you really want to do it. And then you don’t want the rejection.”
