BBC Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice and his girlfriend Bianca Guaccero have taken their relationship to the next level just days after winning Ballando con le Stelle.
Giovanni Pernice and his partner Bianca Guaccero have reportedly taken their relationship to the next level. It comes after the Italian dancer had stepped back from Strictly as the BBC investigated allegations that he bullied his 2023 dance partner Amanda Abbington.
The professional dancer, aged 34, robustly refuted these claims and was exonerated of almost all the charges of abuse in September following a half-year internal probe by the BBC. In a stunning revelation on the Italian version of Strictly, Ballando con le Stelle, in November, Giovanni confirmed his love affair with the Italian actress and songstress Bianca Guaccero.
Their dazzling performances hinted at more than just on-stage chemistry, suggesting a deeper connection offstage as well.
Shortly after clinching victory on the show, the couple seems to have made a significant commitment to each other. Bianca took to Instagram, where she boasts 897,000 followers, to announce the serious step they’ve decided upon – one that signifies a point of no return.
She posted a series of romantic photos with Giovanni, including one where they share a kiss, reports the Mirror.

Bianca also disclosed that they have commemorated their Ballando con le Stelle win with matching tattoos of the date. Alongside her post, she wrote: “21/12/2018. And how could we ever forget that date that YOU made Irreplaceable. Thank you for everything. Merry Christmas to everyone!”
Elsewhere, Bianca seemed to take a subtle swipe at his dance partner Amanda Abbington in a heartfelt Instagram post. Bianca wrote: “I wish you to always be able to go beyond the unpleasant things in life and the envy of those who try to dominate or discredit you.
“Smile and dream on… against all odds… Make it as. as. as possible. Do it Intensely. Never lose sight of the goal. This is how your path can never be stopped. This has always been my secret. This day is yours. I love you.”

The post, which garnered over 85,000 likes, was met with an outpouring of affectionate comments. Giovanni himself responded to the post, saying: “Love and thanks to all of you who contributed to making all this happen!”
Before clinching victory on Ballando con le Stelle, Giovanni hinted at a potential proposal to Bianca, saying: “If we win the show, I’ll seriously think about it.”
The dancer had only recently confirmed his relationship with the 43 year old actress and singer after they appeared to get closer over time.
In a pre-performance clip, he declared: “Bianca is my priority. She has been my priority from the beginning. She is still my priority today and will be until the end of the show and beyond.”
Bianca, visibly moved, responded: “Being someone’s priority is something new for me. I have always been the one taking care of others.”
