I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left in stitches after Oti Mabuse shared a bombshell about her marriage in the latest instalment of the ITV series
Oti Mabuse caused quite the stir when she revealed a surprising detail about her wedding location.
In the latest episode of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, the stars were given a chance to win letters from home by deciphering words mouthed by their campmates. The celebs had to head into the Bush Telegraph and attempt to communicate the phrases, with only two minutes on the clock to secure their precious letters.
Oti was baffled when she came across the phrase “aero island”. Initially clueless, she soon had a lightbulb moment and shared with the others: “It was where we got married!” This revelation has since sparked a flurry of reactions on social media platforms, with viewers expressing their amusement at Oti’s temporary lapse in memory.
One fan commented: “Oti forgetting where she got married is so funny #imaceleb,” reports the Mirror. Another chimed in, adding: “Not Oti forgetting where she got married. Looks like the jungle’s messing with her memory! #imaceleb.”

And yet another viewer found humour in the situation, writing: “Oti forgetting where she got married, glad they all got their letters #imaceleb,” accompanied by a series of laughing emojis.
“Oti forgetting where she got married is literal queen type behaviour and typical Oti at her finest #imaceleb,” one fan chuckled. Another viewer couldn’t contain their amusement, remarking: “These passwords are more entertaining than the actual letters from home. Oti forgetting where she got married and finding out Wayne proposed to Coleen in a petrol station.”
When it was Coleen Rooney’s turn to read aloud Oti’s letter from her husband, Marius, the rest of the camp heard his heartfelt words: “First of all, our baby is fine. We have had the best time watching how beautiful and kind you are and how you spread that positive South African energy with this amazing group of people.

“Even if I didn’t think it was possible, I realised that I love you even more now, because of the woman and extraordinary mother you’re becoming. When you laugh we laugh, when you cry, we cry and when you eat cockroaches we eat the best food we can get, just to balance it out! Limitless love Little Oti and Marius.”
Touching on previous conversations, Marius had shared with the Mirror his emotional reaction to seeing Oti cry during her time in the jungle. Meanwhile, Oti herself confessed last month how being part of I’m a Celeb was proving to be a challenge, saying the experience was “exhausting” without her usual support networks.
“You know they say you have a dip, and I don’t think I’ve had one until now,” she reflected. “You don’t have your normal support you know, you don’t have your spiritual support, you don’t have your emotional support…I was just like, “‘Wow, ok none of my family’s around.'”
As Oti was visibly shaken, her fellow campmates rallied around to cheer her up. Tulisa comforted her, saying: “Your jungle family’s here, though.” Reflecting on the experience later in the Bush Telegraph, Oti remarked: “I just have to remind myself why I’m here, I just have to push and dig deep. I’m here for my daughter and I have to be strong. It’s just exhausting sometimes to be strong.”
