Netflix fans so ‘hooked’ on new true crime series they ‘won’t sleep’ until they’ve binge-watched every episode

Netflix fans are ‘hooked’ on a brand new true crime series and already want to binge-watch every episode.

Apple Cider Vinegar only hit the streaming platform on Thursday but viewers were immediately gripped.

It stars Emmy nominee Kaitlyn Dever, Alycia Debnam-Carey from Fear The Walking Dead and Aisha Dee in leading roles.

The show describes itself as a ‘true-ish story based on a lie’ and delves into a wellness influencing scandal storyline.

Health guru Belle Gibson, played by Kaitlyn, lies about having cancer and curing it through wellness techniques to her hoards of online followers.

Meanwhile Alycia plays Milla Blake, another influencer who actually has the disease, and Aisha stars as Milla’s friend, Chanelle.

Apple Cider Vinegar has received raving reviews from fans online

Apple Cider Vinegar has received raving reviews from fans online

It comes after Netflix fans were left obsessed by a new show soaring up the charts, with some raving that they have ‘binged every episode’ already.

The true crime series hit the platform this week and is in Swedish – but that did not stop viewers across the world being hooked.

Subscribers cannot stop watching The Breakthrough, a four-part dramatisation of the second largest investigation in the Scandinavian country’s history.

A very bingeable 159 minutes in length, the series focused on a double murder which occurred in the city of Linköping in 2004.

It starred Peter Eggers as Police detective John Sudin and Mattias Nordkvist as genealogist Per as the duo team up to catch the killer before it becomes a cold case.

And fans raved about the tense true crime show in the days after its premiere.

Apple Cider Vinegar is available to stream on Netflix.
