MARRIED At First Sight’s Ella Morgan admitted she ‘can’t stop crying’ as she broke down after her relationship split.

Ella, 31, wiped her eyes while sharing an emotional update with fans, confessing she’s been overwhelmed following the breakup with “cheating” Alex James Ali.

The reality star took to her Instagram Stories from her sofa to reflect on her feelings, candidly opening up about the turmoil she’s experiencing.

She said: “Guys, I don’t know if it’s because it’s a Sunday and I feel like Sundays are just like the bland, boring day of the week where I just sit and procrastinate.

“Well, not every Sunday, but like, I don’t know if there’s something going on with the universe, but I feel so emotional today.

“Like, all I’ve done is cry. Everyone knows from watching me that I’m a very emotional person, and I wear my heart on my sleeve.

“But my god, like, I love a good cry, which I think is great for you in a while. But I just cannot stop crying. I feel so emotional. And then I read all of your messages, and then it sends me off again.”

Ella’s vulnerability struck a chord with her fans as she explained how even the smallest things have been setting her off emotionally.

Despite her upset, she maintained a lighthearted tone, joking about possible reasons for her emotional state.

She continued: “I just felt… I don’t know. I’m like, is it… am I on my period? No, I don’t even get periods, but if I did, then I would just bring that. But maybe I just feel really hormonal.”

However, Ella didn’t dwell on the sadness.

Instead, she looked to the future with optimism and excitement, expressing hope for the year ahead.

She said: “But onwards and upwards. There’s loads to look forward to. Like, bring on 2025. I’m so excited. I’m doing Panto, so make sure you get your tickets.”

In a heartwarming moment, Ella also expressed gratitude for the people in her life who support her unconditionally.

She said: “I have the bestest friend that anybody could wish for. And I do not know what I would do without this boy. He is just my shadow,” she shared while panning out to her dog.

Reflecting on her year, Ella spoke about balancing work commitments, family, and her caregiving responsibilities for her grandmother, which had been a new challenge since her time on Married At First Sight.

She explained: “I didn’t get to spend much time with him over the parts of this year, like summer, I was doing celebs.

“So he was with my mum and dad. And then I’ve obviously come back home and spent, like, time with my family, which is amazing.

“And then I’m looking after my nan, which I haven’t really had to do since kind of before MAFS.

“Obviously, she went into hospital, and now she’s out, and I’m kind of taking some time off. But yeah, that’s been hard.

Despite the challenges, Ella ended her heartfelt update on a positive note, looking forward to a fresh start and embracing the possibilities that lie ahead.

“But I’m looking forward to a new chapter,” she concluded.

Ella seemed to find love on Celebs Go Dating after her time on Married At First Sight UK ended in disaster.

But The Sun exclusively revealed last week that the pair had split after rumours of infidelity within the relationship.

She’s since taken a series of swipes at him online, deleting all traces of him from her Instagram and even sharing a Christmas picture with her dog who she declared was “her main man”.

Her latest dig in an official statement is the clearest comment yet she’s ready to move on.

A rep for Ella told us: “Ella is extremely grateful for her time on Celebs Go Dating and for meeting Alex.

“Sadly the couple had decided to split recently this month, but Ella was unaware of any messaging between Alex and other girls during the time they were together.

“This has come as a bit of a shock and so Ella will be focusing the rest of the Christmas and festive period on spending time with her family, alongside focusing on her career and wellbeing.

“She has learnt so much about what she wants and deserves, and knows what her worth is, which is the most important thing.”

What went wrong?

Ella and Alex’s blossoming romance played out on screen over the summer, with the pair meeting on one of Celebs Go Dating’s retreats.

Their bond only grew when Ella was forced to take time off from the show after falling ill, and Alex sent her flowers while she recovered.

After the show, the pair became official and have been sharing loved-up posts ever since as they enjoyed time with family and friends, and even a romantic getaway.

In October Ella told The Sun at the Pride of Britain Awards she was “happy and content” with Alex, and they’d both said they loved each other.

She told us: “He’s not like any of the other people I’ve been with. I feel like I want to pinch myself.

“I went on two dating shows, first one didn’t go well.

“I actually didn’t think anything would happen, this sounds so cringe, you know when you know.”

But Ella called it quits just before Christmas after accusing Alex of being unfaithful and messaging other and younger women.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Ella is absolutely heartbroken and disappointed but the trust is gone now for her.

“On the outside they appeared so happy and loved up but there was cracks growing on the inside.

“Fans absolutely adored them and that initially spurred them on to try and make things work and they even planned to move into Alex’s house at some point.

“She’s going into the New Year single with a positive mind frame but it has come at the worst time with Christmas and her birthday just days away.”
