Stephen Mulhern has issued an urgent Dancing On Ice warning hours before the second live show.

The presenter, who hosts the show alongside Holly Willoughby, has vowed that someone will “get the boot” tonight, just a week after the 2025 launch show. “It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for… the first @dancingonice elimination is here!” he wrote as he took to X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Who’s skating into next week, and who’s getting the boot? Join us at 6:30pm on @ITV and @ITVX to find out! Trust me, nobody wants to go first, but it’s going to happen LIVE tonight!”

There won’t be so much as a skate-off, so every vote counts. Fans have stated that they’re “buzzing to watch”, as they wait to find out if the likes of retired Olympic rower Steve Redgrave will be safe.

Winterwatch host Michaela Strachan received top scores last weekend, and prides herself on having maintained her health and fitness throughout middle age. That means she’s likely to be safe during the first elimination.

Betway has placed her odds at a favourable 3/1 to win the overall competition.

However, Steve Redgrave is rumoured to be the most likely to see his Dancing On Ice journey end prematurely tonight, with bookies giving him a distant outside chance of just 100/1 of being the winner.

The Traitors’ Mollie Pearce and Corrie star Sam Aston are top contenders for an overall win, and odds of 4/1 mean they’re both hot on the heels of Michaela.

TOWIE’s Dan Edgar has odds of 6/1, followed by Love Island’s Chris Taylor at 7/1.

Chris’ partner Vanessa Bauer spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk of how Chris isn’t “a natural” on the ice rink, but she insisted his “character and personality” are what will get him through.

She has high hopes of him reaching the final – something she’s done herself numerous times with previous partners – and she even won with Jake Quickenden in 2018.

While Chris is hoping for a win, EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks is ranked next in the race at 13/2.

Hollyoaks fave Chelsee Healey’s optimistic attitude, seeing her laugh off painful falls, has stood her in good stead too, with her currently facing odds of 16/1 to win.

Then there’s Ferne McCann, who’s ranked at 25/1, ex-footballer Anton Ferdinand at 33/1, and comedian Josh Jones at 50/1.

Who will triumph and who will face a painful early defeat? Viewers will have to tune in to find out
