Strictly Come Dancing sensation Kai Widdrington has his fans in a flurry, showering him with compliments for what appears to be his ‘new look’. The dancing dynamo is once again captivating crowds across the nation, performing in the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour.
While he may have been noticeably absent from having a celebrity dance partner in the series back in 2024, causing quite a stir amongst the show’s admirers, he’s now seizing the spotlight as he teams up with Gladiators icon Montell Douglas in the live extravaganza.
Kai steps in for Johannes Radebe, who was unable to join the tour due to his own theatre commitments.
This new pairing has certainly sparked buzz among followers on Instagram, with @rachelhutchinson1995 exclaiming: “So here for this partnership! Roll on 31st Jan.”

As the Strictly Live tour commences, Kai celebrates the new collaboration with Montell by sharing a gleeful photo of the pair, poised for action, along with the energised caption on Instagram: “ITS SHOWTIME ! ! ! ! ! @strictlycomedancinglive.” (sic)

The Strictly Live social media team recently posted a video of Montell and Kai, captioned: “Actual footage of Kai auditioning to be Montell’s partner.”
The duo participated in the viral ‘I Love Your Daughter’ TikTok trend, which gained popularity after a lesser-known scene from Gilmore Girls was turned into a trend. However, it was Kai who received a flurry of compliments from Strictly fans, reports Manchester Evening News.
