Sunday Brunch host Tim Lovejoy was forced to interrupt the programme after a celebrity guest failed to show up for the show
Sunday Brunch: Tim shares update on Bre Tiesi’s whereabouts
Sunday Brunch experienced a bumpy start on March 2nd when a celebrity guest failed to appear for the Channel 4 show.
The programme had lined up Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi, who was set to join the likes of former TOWIE star Megan McKenna, G’Wed actor Jake Kenny-Byrne, author Liz Pichon, musician Antony Szmierek, and Jon Ronson on the panel.
Bre’s absence became noticeable as she was scheduled to be on the show but was nowhere to be seen, prompting Tim to cut in with a “breaking news” announcement about the reality star’s location.
It wasn’t until well into the episode that they addressed why Bre hadn’t shown up, revealing she had been at the 2025 BRIT Awards the previous evening.
Tim informed the audience: “Breaking news Bre from Selling Sunset is in the car and she’s at the hotel,” amidst sounds of approval from the studio, reports the Mirror.

He continued: “For anyone that doesn’t know Bre was supposed to be on the show this morning but she went to the BRITs last night and so she is going to turn up, when she turns up but she’s a friend of ours, so we don’t mind.”
Adding a touch of humour, Tim quipped: “We just hope she manages to make it at some stage,”.
Bre shot to fame on Netflix’s Selling Sunset in 2022, where she featured as one of the real estate agents at the high-end Hollywood Hills firm, The Oppenheim Group.

She is also the proud mother to a son named Legendary Love, with her partner, the charismatic rapper and comedian Nick Cannon. In a candid revelation last December, Bre confirmed they were still very much an item during her appearance on Sophie Habboo’s podcast.
Later on the programme, co-host Tim showed signs of worry about Bre’s appearance on the show, seeking assurance from Simon Rimmer about whether she would indeed join them.
Addressing his colleague, Tim queried: “What do you think. Do you think Bre’s going to make it on to the show?” With optimism, Simon ventured, “Yeah I’m going to go with 12:20pm,” predicting her time of arrival.

Moments later, a fresh update reached Tim through his earpiece, broadcasting, “Ohh I’ve just heard she’s in the taxi on her way down from Luton to London.”
There was further chaos to come as Tim also had to confirm why TOWIE and X Factor star Megan had now vanished from her seat half way through the show, leaving just four guests on-air.
Addressing her absence, Tim said: “Sorry Megan has just had to step away to feed Landon [her baby son], which is why she’s now missing.”
Bre did finally make it to show, arriving in the studio at 12:30pm, telling the hosts: “I am not well, sorry guys,” the Netflix star confessed she’d drank several tequila shots and got back to her hotel at 6am.
Sunday Brunch airs each Sunday on Channel 4, from 10am.
