A tearful Dianne Buswell made the discovery before addressing a plan to get back together with Strictly Come Dancing partner Chris McCausland.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell was left feeling emotional after making a discovery at home – and dropping a huge hint at a reunion.
The Australian Strictly pro won the 2024 series against all odds while partnered with blind comedian Chris McCausland.
Chris, who is appearing on The Last Leg Of The Year on Channel 4 on New Year’s Eve, ended up scooping the coveted glitterball trophy with Dianne, sweeping away competition from the likes of reality TV star Pete Wicks and Love Islander Tasha Ghouri.

Dianne Buswell shared the nostalgic discovery from her time with Chris
Through their time on the series, the pair got into the habit of sharing how training was going backstage as well as playing games with their fans on Instagram.
One such game they would play while taking a break was called ‘guess the flavour of Kit Kat’.
Sharing a post to her Instagram story, Dianne Buswell said: “Cleaning my Strictly dance bag out! Found a Kit Kat made me [tearful emoji].”
She then dropped a huge hint at a reunion with her Strictly partner Chris as she added: “Chris McCausland shall we get together soon and do another episode?”
It’s not the first time Dianne has become emotional.
Chris met Dianne’s parents backstage in another moment shared to her Instagram story, a few weeks before they went on to win.
The blind comedian met Dianne’s parents, Mark and Rina, backstage during rehearsals after the pair flew out to celebrate their daughter’s success in the 2024 series with her.
In footage caught by production crews and shared by Dianne on her Instagram, Chris met Dianne Buswell’s dad, who hugged Chris tight and wept into his shoulder.

Chris then asks Dianne’s dad: “Are you okay?”
Dianne then sat down with her mum and dad and pro partner Chris to talk about what just happened.
She said: “Dad’s getting emotional again.”
Dianne’s mum then had her in tears again as she said: “Dianne’s been dancing since she was four years old. I’ve seen the highs and I’ve seen the lows, and to be here for this amazing moment is pretty special.”
Dianne Buswell hasn’t been given a partner for the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Live Tour, which starts in January 2025, but she will be present onstage along with other pros including Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin and Jowita Przystal.
