The Chase enthusiasts were left utterly gobsmacked by the youthful looks of a contestant, causing quite a stir on social media.
On Tuesday’s episode (January 14), host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contenders eager to take on the challenge and walked away with a handsome cash prize. Sammie, Jane, Winston, and Daniel were ready to face off against chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis, each eyeing up the jackpot.
However, the buzz among viewers kicked off even before the game truly began, as eyes fixated on the second player, 62-year-old Winston. Fans were in disbelief, marvelling at how incredibly young Winston appeared for his age.
Social media networks were buzzing as onlookers took to platform X en masse to voice their astonishment. Echoing the audience’s sentiment, one fan exclaimed, “No way is he 62. I demand to see evidence.”
Another viewer expressed their envy, writing, “I’m the same age as Winston!! Yet he looks 40 years younger than me? ? ? ”

The competition started shakily for the team, with both Winston and Sammie narrowly securing their spots in the final chase. Observers pointed out their close calls, suggesting that Darragh should’ve caught them with ease.

Yet it was third contestant Daniel who threw the biggest wrench in the works, stirring up the conversation amongst fans watching the drama unfold.
Daniel, with his winning personality and impressive general knowledge, seemed destined for the final round glory.
Tragically, his journey came to an abrupt end when he faced chaser Daragh and failed to respond in time, leading to his elimination from the contest.
