Some viewers have left stunning verdicts of the series online, including one review on Google that according to Metro reads: ‘I have just found the series Accused and am absolutely hooked, gripping and emotion-stirring. Brilliant.’;

Other fans raved over the opening episode and the ‘twisted ending’.

‘The absolute best first episode of a new series.’; ‘All six separate stories are excellent.’;

‘I couldn’t stop watching it. The ending was a twist that I did not expect whatsoever.’

‘Brilliant, gritty and well written and acted – definitely worth watching.’;

‘I love the show. Somehow I know all the endings, however. Meaning I love it even more. My kind of writing. And acting.’

However, not everyone has praised the crime drama, with one viewer writing, ‘Episodes one and two were pretty good, but there’s no closure on episodes 3 and 4, which is REALLY annoying. Am I missing something? Do some episodes have 2 parts? If so, where are they?’;

‘Watched the second and third episodes. In both the endings were disappointing and didn’t make sense. Don’t think I will watch another episode.’

Accused is rated 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon Prime, with some fans praising the ‘astonishing plot’ and others dubbing it ‘gripping’.

Another crime drama, Wild Cards, on Prime Video was also praised by fans.

Wild Cards follows detective Cole Ellis, played by Giacomo Gianniotti and con-artist Max Mitchell, portrayed by Vanessa Morgan, as they work together as two unlikely allies to solve crimes.

The first season of the Canadian show was added to Prime Video in the US earlier this month, and the second is set to be available in the UK in February.

Series one was reportedly first released in Canada last year and since then, the crime show has received a perfect 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
