I’m A Celebrity kicked off on Sunday night with the full names of the famous faces set to battle bugs, including Oti Mabuse, Coleen Rooney and Tulisa Contostavlos, displayed on-screen before their entry into camp Down Under.

Yet now viewers of the jungle japes have spotted the opening credits have been tweaked just 24 hours into camp life.

On Monday’s episode, alert I’m A Celeb regulars noticed how the opening scenes solely featured N Dubz songstress Tulisa’s first name – not her surname – in an unexpected change.

Meanwhile, the last names of the other stars remain.

One took to Reddit to remark: “Is it me, or did they delete Tulisa’s surname from the opening titles?

“I swear they had her surname during the intro last night, but she seems to just be Tulisa now? Or was it always just Tulisa?

“Am I going mad?”

A second reassured them and wrote: “I just checked my Sky recording of it from yesterday. It shows all their surnames in the first episode.”

SHOW TWEAK

Yet it isn’t the only unexpected tweak to the format.

Long-time viewers of the critter-filled series hailed the “end of an era” after the voting was altered for the first time since the show’s inception in 2002.

Throughout the series, viewers have the chance to vote for which celebrity or celebrities they want to see take on the Bushtucker Trials.

Later in the series, viewers get to vote for their favourite celebrity to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, deciding the ultimate winner.

Since the show’s debut in 2002, voting has traditionally been done via premium-rate phone lines, with the numbers displayed on the celebrities’ clothing throughout the episodes.

But, in recent years, hosts Ant and Dec have informed viewers can vote via the official I’m A Celebrity app, offering a free alternative.

However, this year marks a significant change as it’s the first time voting will be done just through the app, meaning phone numbers are no longer displayed on the celebrities’ clothing.

Fans couldn’t help but feel saddened by the change, with many calling it “the end of an era.”
