Lisa Armstrong, the ex-wife of Ant McPartlin, has taken to Instagram with a playful post asking fans to ‘pray for her boyfriend’. Ant and Lisa said their vows in 2006 after the I’m A Celebrity host proposed during a romantic getaway in Dubai in 2005.
The pair were husband and wife for 12 years before they announced their split in 2018. Ant then tied the knot with his current wife, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Wilder Patrick McPartlin, who was born on May 14, 2024. Lisa moved on with electrician James Green, but they ended their relationship in 2023.

Now, it seems that the star, who is a key part of the team working on the BBC’s troubled talent show Strictly Come Dancing, is ready to find love again. She shared a picture on her Instagram story which read: “Please pray for my boyfriend. I think he’s struggling to find me,” accompanied by cry laughing and prayer hand emojis.
Lisa and James began their romance in 2020 when James, a father of two, was separated from his wife, and they quickly progressed from lockdown dates to travelling around the world. However, three years later, they parted ways, with the break up reportedly coming “out of the blue”, reports the Mirror.

A source spilt the beans to Daily Mail at the time of the couple’s split, saying: “I don’t really know what has gone wrong. The two of them were only on a swanky holiday together in the Caribbean or somewhere about eight weeks ago. He was with her one day, and he just wasn’t with her the next day. There was no inkling that anything was wrong.”
Lisa recently seemed to throw shade at her former flames in a sizzling New Year message. Just before ringing in the New Year, she posted a chic monochrome clip of two gals downing a shot, captioned with the sass-filled words: “Cheers to the people who love us, the losers who lost us, and the lucky b******s who get to meet us.”
Earlier, she also added an uplifting quote that declared: “You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive.”
This follows her ex husband Ant’s celebration of becoming a parent last spring.
In line with this, Lisa uploaded several enigmatic posts on social media, one of which stated: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”
