The pair were recently seen going their separate ways for the festive season after the competed in the final of the BBC One dance contest’s 2024 series in mid-December.
They made it to the end of Strictly’s 20th-anniversary series, after being paired together back in September, where they performed alongside JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell and Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec in a bid to be crowned the show’s latest winners.
After performing three dances each during the spectacular two-and-a-half-hour show, it was Chris and Dianne who emerged victorious and were seen lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy in emotional scenes.
Almost a week after the final, Sarah took to social media to reflect on her dancing adventure and said alongside a string of behind the scenes photos: “Still decompressing from Saturday!! What an incredible night – feel so very lucky to be in that final gang and so proud of @chrismccauslandcomedy @diannebuswell – just legends…
“Also these beuts @jbgill @laurenmayoakley @tashaghouri @aljazskorjanec we completed strictly! And of course my main man … @vitocoppola forever my Vito Pan.”
But now, Sarah has found herself a ‘new man’ and took to social media to reveal him – but all wasn’t as it seemed. In the post, the Miranda star looked fabulous in a silky red dress boasting a thigh-high split which she paired with a matching santa hat. She was stood arm-in-arm with a life size statue of Woody from Disney Pixar film Toy Story.

Alongside the post she wrote: “Happy New Year from me and my new man – sorry @vitocoppola but who can turn down a 6 foot Woody? #newyearnewme.” Vito was quick to respond, simply commenting on the post: “Happy new year Trillyyyyyy.” Fellow Strictly star Tasha also said: “Happy new year gorgeous!!! Can’t wait to squeeze you next week,” while Dr Punam Krishnan replied: “Haha love it! Happy new year my lovely.”
Sarah’s Gavin and Stacey star pal Laura Aikman also reponded, as she said in the comments section: “A 6ft woody?! [shocked face and crying laughing face emojis],” before adding: “Where is this dress from now please Hadders? Give me.”
