Kai Widdrington will have been feeling the love after he shared a new social media post in which he looked back over the year after the end of Strictly Come Dancing.

The professional dancer was recently seen during the BBC One dance contest’s sparkling Christmas special in which he was seen being crowned the champion alongside drag artist Tayce.

His win in the Strictly festive special came after he joined the cast of the show’s 2024 series as they returned to the dancefloor for one last bright and joyous routine, before he also joined singer-songwriter Raye for a special performance of Oscar Winning Tears, in the final of the latest run of the competition.

But with all his Strictly duties wrapped up until early 2025 when he’ll hit the road with a number of his co-stars in the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, Kai is busy performing as Captain Hook at Liverpool’s The Auditorium, at the MandS Bank arena, in their production of Peter Pan.

Despite still working, it appears Kai is looking back on the past year and shared a compliation video featuring a string of clips that showed highlights of how he spent the last 12 months.

And his co-stars, fans and followers were quick to respond.

Fellow Strictly pro Lauren Oakley replied: “Love you ,” while 2022 contestant Tyler West shared: “My padel steps are ready for 2025. Love you bro.” Strictly 2024 star Jamie Borthwick also commented: “Loving your work.”

@pauline.knight.10 said: “You’ve been busy busy busy this year. Roll on 2025.” @elainewalsh98 posted: “Lots of fantastic memories there Kai. Looking forward to what 2025 brings. I’ll be watching.” @clarebear1806 added: “And what a year you’ve had. So proud to support you. And I look forward to supporting you in 2025.”
