Former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball has announced that he’s welcomed a daughter with his wife this week.

The singer, 26 – who placed third on the ITV talent show in 2022 – shared the news with his followers on Instagram. He revealed in a post on the weekend that his wife Hannah Ball gave birth to newborn Adeline on Wednesday morning.

The couple had announced the pregnancy in September after having gone through IVF. Tom – who’s also competed on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars – wrote at the time: “After a long, difficult journey, and becoming successful with IVF, we’re so thankful and excited for this next chapter.”

Now announcing their baby’s arrival, Tom shared a series of photos with fans on Saturday. One photo showed Hannah cradling the newborn whilst lying in a hospital bed as her husband Tom stood beside them. Whilst another showed the couple stood in a corridor with Adeline in a baby carrier.

Alongside them, Tom wrote in the accompanying caption: “SHE’S HERE! Hannah and I are so overjoyed to welcome ‘Adeline Hope Ball’ to our World! Born on the 15th at 00:00, weighing 7Ibs 5oz. Both Hannah and Adeline are happy, healthy and I’m so proud and in awe of the both of them.”

He added in the post: “We’re absolutely bursting with love, and the middle name ‘Hope’ reflects everything our little miracle has given us throughout a long, difficult journey. IVF has now changed our life and we’re so thankful to have our beautiful little girl. Honestly, it’s our dream come true.”

Tom continued by writing: “With an epic tour and album inbound fast, I’m taking a small break from socials to enjoy this goregous baby bubble and moment with my girls. If your interested in our journey, the new vlog is out on my YouTube now ‘We have a baby!’ Big thanks to everyone for their love and support.” And he concluded: “We have a baby girl!”

The performer – who accompanied the post with his cover of the song Can’t Help Falling In Love – has since returned to the platform to express gratitude for the outpouring of support the family have received. He shared a message for fans on his Instagram Story and gave another glimpse of his newborn baby in the video.

He said in the message on Sunday: “I just wanted to jump on here really quickly and say a massive thank you to every single one of you that has sent a message congratulating me and Hannah on our beautiful baby Adeline.”

Tom added: “We are absolutely over the moon. Overjoyed. Your messages mean the world. I’m sorry that I haven’t come back to a lot of you yet. I am taking this week as kind of a week off just to stay in this baby bubble for a little bit longer, but believe me, I have read them. And if I haven’t responded to them yet, I will do my best to do so later down the line. But massive thank you and see you in a week.”
