A LOVE Island star has sparked concern amongst his fans after sharing a photo from a hospital bed.

Zac Ashford was an Islander on season ten of the show, entering Casa Amor on day 26, before being dumped.

He exited the show on day 31, after failing to couple up with any of his co-stars.

But the 29-year-old has now worried fans after posting a photo to his story of his arm with various tubes in.

Zac shared the photo from a hospital bed, with the caption: “God knows when I’m getting outta here.”

He didn’t provide any further context and hasn’t updated fans since.

Ahead of going on to Love Island, senior sales advisor Zac said he was ready to “stir the pot.”

He wanted to find a girl of his dreams and said he likes someone who is family orientated.

He said:”The main one would be loyalty, that’s something that everyone wants. Humour, I need someone that has got banter – I can’t have a dry conversation every day.

“A big thing for me is someone who is family orientated.

“That brings a lot of great qualities to a person and something that I am passionate about because I come from a big family.”

Love Island fans actually compared the star to a very famous TV presenter while he was on the show, after noticing an “uncanny similarity.”

It was none other than Top Gear star Richard Hammond.

Fans flocked to the original tweet to agree with the comparison.

Since coming out of the Love Island villa, the 29-year-old has kept his legion of fans updated.

He posts workout snaps in the gym, as well as out partying or on holiday.

His most recent photo came on September 12 where he ate food and drank wine and flashed a smile at the camera.

“Wined & Dined,” Zac wrote, before being flooded with compliments from his fan base.

Last year, the Love Island hunk revealed he’d been dating his co-star, Edinburgh beauty Mal Nicol.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Zachary said: “We’ve been spending a lot of time, me and Mal. We’ve had a double date, me and Mal and Gabby and Kodie. It’s early doors at the moment.”

When asked if he thought that a romantic connection could develop between him and Mal, Zachary said: “You never know, she’s a good looking girl.

“I’d be stupid to not see where things go, we get on really well but it’s early doors at the minute, we’ll see.”
