On the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity, Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney faced the notorious Bushtucker Trial named Dreaded Dregs, which included a wicked drinking challenge full of surprises. Ant and Dec were there to support Richard and Coleen as they competed in various games, with a penalty awaiting the loser.

The trial offered six stars, translating to meals for the camp, and an additional bonus star that would treat all the campmates to their drink of choice. As the tension mounted, Richard pondered: “I’m trying to think of the biggest free drink I could possibly have. I’d have 14 pints of cider,” while Coleen opted for: “I’ll have a bottle of rose please! ” The contest kicked off with ‘spin the bottle’, deciding who would gulp down the first nasty brew to win a star for the camp.

When it was Coleen’s turn, she faced ‘Boar’s light’, a concoction made from pig’s testicles resembling a cloudy white coffee. Coleen dove into her challenge with gusto, impressing Ant who praised: “She just gets on with it doesn’t she!” With Richard’s encouragement, her successful effort secured the camp’s first star, according to Plymouth Live.

The second challenge was ‘flip cup’, where they had six cups filled with blended cockroaches in front of them. They had to drink each one in sequence, then flip the cup they’d just drunk from before moving on to the next.

The slowest person would receive a forfeit. Coleen started off strong, quickly drinking and flipping the first three cups, while Richard struggled initially with flipping his first cup, reports Belfast Live.

However, he soon got the hang of it, and it became a close race, both on their final cup. Richard managed to flip his last cup before Coleen, winning the round and leaving Coleen with the forfeit.

As they both successfully finished all six cups, they won an additional two stars for camp. The forfeit meant that Coleen had to face round three alone, which consisted of six shots.

She needed to down all six to win the star. Without hesitation, she successfully downed the first three shots named: ‘slippery nipple’ before moving on to the final three ‘flaming sampoocas’.

The fourth round was beer pong, where they had to land a ball in the other person’s cup to make them drink it. Taking turns to throw, Coleen was the first to score, meaning Richard had to drink blended sheep’s penis.

She scored twice in a row, forcing Richard to down the second drink as well. After finishing both drinks, he won another two stars for camp.

In a jaw-dropping final bonus round, the celebs were faced with a fishbowl cocktail that was nothing short of a nightmare blend, featuring giant mealworms, surstromming, crocodile anus, and vomit fruit. Ant couldn’t resist commenting, “It’s the worst of the worst.”

Coleen was visibly repulsed by the smell, which she described as “every dirty thing going” and started to gag at the mere thought of sipping it.

Richard, on the other hand, took one for the team and downed the drink solo, leaving Dec to exclaim in shock, “I’ve never seen anything like that! ” Ant was equally impressed, declaring: “Oh my god. The man’s a machine! ” Their efforts weren’t in vain, though, as they bagged all six stars for the camp and secured a special drink for each of their fellow campmates.

Fans took to Twitter as they called for Richard to win the series following his heroic actions. One wrote: “Poor Richard.. He should be crowned King of the Jungle.. A bl**dy legend.” A second said: “This is making me cry so much wth haha Richard to win #ImACeleb.”

A third wrote: “Richard has done every eating trial like a f**king trooper, if I didn’t want Danny to win so bad he’d be my winner.” Another said: “Richard is a legend.. The guy is selfless.. If he doesn’t win the whole thing…”
