ITV I’m A Celebrity CHAOS as EMOTIONAL STAR quits trial after Ant and Dec’s BAD NEWS

An I’m A Celebrity star was forced to halt the ITV show after things got a bit too much for them.

I’m A Celebrity saw one of its famous faces pushed to the edge during the latest trial.

The ITV show returned to screens on Thursday (November 21) with Ant and Dec back at the helm, to check in on the latest batch of famous faces in the Aussie jungle.

And during the latest instalment, it was time for BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough to take on yet another Bushtucker Trial, Lethal Lab. Arriving at the jungle’s scientific research facility area, Ant and Dec told Dean the proceedings.

He had to start in the experimentation area, having 2 minutes to complete an experiment which will be worth 2 stars. This will be followed by 7 different containment areas, where a further 8 stars will be up for grabs [the last containment area had two stars in it].

“I like to overpromise and underdeliver,” Dean said, revealing he’s aiming for just one star. During the first experiment, he had to combine both a green liquid and a clear liquid in the test tube together to create a chemical reaction.

Armed with goggles, and safety gloves containing green ants, he said: “This is not looking good boys.” Dean managed to win 2 stars and moved on to the containment areas.

But in the containment areas he was not alone, as he was joined by the likes of cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, giant lizards, snakes and spiders.

He then won a further two stars, but moving onto containment area 5, Dean revealed he didn’t want to know what was joining him.
