I’m A Celebrity viewers have erupted in fury over a new twist introduced just before the final, claiming it has spoiled the series. Enthusiasts of the ITV show were left disgruntled during Thursday’s episode when Danny, Maura, Coleen, and Oti were selected to compete in a trial for a chance at securing a coveted ticket for the Celebrity Cyclone.

Oti dazzled hosts Ant and Dec with her performance, earning the ticket and immunity from the next two eliminations. Fans, however, expressed their discontent with the change, feeling “rigged” by the loss of their power to vote.

Traditionally, the audience decides who faces the Celebrity Cyclone through votes. Venting on social media, one viewer exclaimed: “So they can win cyclone and there’s no vote for which two go? ? ? It’s feeling rigged.”

Another chimed in: “I think we’re all confused.”

A third shared: “I also don’t like how we don’t get to chose who’s in the cyclone? ? Like it’s normally who we all voted for and wanted there. And I know it’s a good camp, just seems a bit c**p.”, reports the Mirror.

A fourth pleaded: “Can they please go back to the original format of public vote it’s so much better.”

One fan lamented: “Trying to keep the series fresh by introducing the golden ticket for the cyclone and immunity has actually spoilt the series for me this year… and it was so good before this! “.

Viewers have called for a public vote on “Cyclone should be down to public vote.”

The new twist in the game has seen the 34 year old former Strictly Come Dancing sensation and Dancing on Ice judge spared from the public’s verdict after enduring a messy jungle challenge, where she competed against Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, and Maura Higgins.

Ant and Dec introduced the ‘Battle Blocks’ trial, announcing that victory and hitting the golden buzzer would earn the winner the Ticket to Cyclone. Ant quipped: “Even though you press the golden buzzer that doesn’t mean you’re through to the live shows of Britain’s Got Talent, that’s a different show, don’t get confused.”

In a triumphant moment, Oti burst forth and slammed the golden buzzer amidst a shower of golden confetti, her celebration met with cheers from Dec who exclaimed: “Oti! That was incredible! ” while Ant praised her: “Absolutely brilliant.”

It was then Dec’s turn to present Oti with the golden ticket, ensuring her participation in the Celebrity Cyclone and immunity from two upcoming public votes.

A delighted Oti couldn’t hide her joy, humorously remarking: “It feels amazing, I’ve got to wash my underwear more now! “.
