MasterChef star Gregg Wallace welcomed his son Sid with wife Anne-Marie over four years ago – but at the time, he gave her an ultimatum in order to keep their marriage ‘fun’ and ‘sexy’
Gregg Wallace reportedly gave his wife Anne-Marie an ultimatum after they decided to have a baby together.
The MasterChef star – who has taken a step away from presenting the BBC cooking show – has had historical allegations of misconduct issued against him which are being externally reviewed.
Now, the 60-year-old faces fresh claims of harassment, including touching a woman’s bottom at an event and pressing his crotch against another one while filming on a different show. His lawyers previously said it was “entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature”.

Meanwhile, the presenter’s fourth wife, Anne-Marie Sterpini, is standing by him in light of the allegations. They tied the knot in 2016 after first interacting on X, formerly Twitter, and now the couple shares a four-year-old son, Sid. Wallace declared that after three failed marriages, meeting the “love of his life”, Anne-Marie, was like “winning the lottery”.
Anne-Marie, is 38, meaning there is a 22-year age gap between the couple. They also have a rather unusual living arrangement, with Anne-Marie’s parents also living with the family-of-three. Wallace gave his wife an ultimatum at the time, as he insisted that they needed extra help around the house after she became a mother for the first time.
Wallace was reportedly desperate to to keep his wife as his “fun, sexy girlfriend” post-motherhood, and wanted to keep their relationship fresh, instead of parenthood getting in the way. So, Anne-Marie’s parents moved in with the family-of-three to help care for their son, Sid.
Anne-Marie, who shares son, Sid, four, with Gregg, is yet to speak out about the scandal. However, she was spotted on Monday as she topped up on petrol at a service station. The mum-of-one looked sombre as she filled up her car and kept her head down.
Wallace’s wife defiantly flashed her wedding ring as she was papped following the news that MasterChef has been pulled off air. The sighting saw Anne-Marie drive her car away from the family home she shares with Gregg in Kent, wearing sunglasses.
It came just hours after it was revealed that two MasterChef celebrity Christmas specials have been pulled from the BBC’s schedule after the former greengrocer stepped away from hosting the cooking show.
Wallace, 60, apologised on Monday for claiming complaints about his behaviour came from “a handful of middle-class women of a certain age”, adding he will now “take some time out”.

He faces allegations from 13 people across a range of shows over a 17-year period, as reported by BBC News on Thursday, with many others since sharing their experiences.
Wallace’s lawyers were previously quoted by BBC News as saying “it is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature”.
