Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s sweet voices can be heard in Meghan Markle’s emotional tribute video to her beloved late dog Guy.

Taking to her new Instagram account @meghan on Tuesday, Meghan spoke of her devastation at losing “sweet” Guy.

Meghan, who adopted Guy in 2015, recalled how he has been by her side through “the quiet, the chaos, the calm [and] the comfort”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have largely opted to keep their children out of the spotlight, with very little pictures released over the years.

Although mostly recently posting subtle pictures, many of Archie and Lilibet facing away from the camera, Meghan has now given fans an insight into their adorable accents.

Archie’s American accent has previously been heard in the couple’s Netflix series, Harry and Meghan, in 2022.

The last time both Archie and Lilibet’s voices were publicly heard was when they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to King Charles in 2023.

At the end of the video, one of the children – likely Lilibet – can be heard singing along with Meghan.

Copying her mum, the three-year-old can be heard saying: “Guy, yes we do, we love you Guy…”

Alongside the sweet video, Meghan wrote: “In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up … and fell in love.

“They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for…”

She added: “I have cried too many tears to count – the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too. Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.”
