Rod Stewart flooded with support as he makes huge announcement

Sir Rod Stewart has shared an exciting announcement about his music career just months after he was confirmed to headline Glastonbury Festival 2025.

Sir Rod Stewart has issued another announcement as she confirmed that he will add two more shows to his One Last Time Tour later this year.

The rock legend is already headlining the Glastonbury Festival later this year during the Sunday Legend’s slot. The extra show dates will be in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Athens, Greece.

Taking to Instagram, he penned: “I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be adding two more shows to my One Last Time Tour this December!

“On December 11th, I’ll be performing in Sofia, Bulgaria, and on December 13th, I’ll be heading to Athens, Greece! Hope to see you there!”

On his worldwide tour, the English singer has already been confirmed to perform in Toronto, Nashville, Florida, Oslo, Krakow, and other European cities

The English singer, who is married to Loose Women star and former model Penny Lancaster, recently celebrated his 80th birthday this month with lavish celebrations.

Posting an old photo of himself from his younger years, he told his fans: “Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes – 80 years young!

“What an incredible journey it’s been – from unforgettable moments on and off the stage to earning some truly special honors along the way. But above all, my greatest joy has always been performing for you. Cheers to the memories we’ve made and the ones still to come! #80YearsOfRod.”

It was recently revealed that Rod enjoys a rather odd daily dinner request, as disclosed by his wife, Penny Lancaster, on BBC Celebrity MasterChef.

The 80-year-old doesn’t shy away from fancy three-course meals, candles, and all the trimmings each evening.

Penny, who became a familiar face on ITV’s Loose Women panel, shared during her stint on the cooking competition in 2021 that when she first met Rod some 20 years prior, he already had a chef, sparing her culinary duties, The Scottish Sun reports.

“When I first met Rod about 20 years ago he had a chef, so there wasn’t much need for me in the kitchen, thank God,” she revealed.

“Rod kind of likes the fine dining every evening, three-course dinners, candles, and it’s kind of out of my league, so I do the kids’ cooking but otherwise, not really au fait.”
