I’m A Celebrity viewers were irate following the departure of a beloved campmate.

The much-loved ITV programme made a comeback on Sunday (December 8), culminating in an epic final, with fan-favourite duo Ant and Dec steering the show. This season’s line-up saw stars such as Coleen Rooney, GK Barry, Alan Halsall, and Jane Moore withstand the wild conditions of the Australian bush.

Yet, after a fortnight filled with outlandish jungle antics, it was Coleen, Danny Jones and Richard Coles who clinched spots in the final showdown. However, there could only be one champion….

During the episode, Oti Mabuse missed out on the top three, and bid farewell to the jungle life. The remaining finalists enthusiastically waved goodbye to Oti, then jubilantly retreated to the camp as I’m A Celebrity 2024 finalists.

Overjoyed, Richard exclaimed: “I can’t believe I’m one of the final three! I never thought I would make it this far.”, reports Plymouth Live.

Echoing the sentiment, Danny remarked: “It feels amazing, I didn’t expect this at all.” Coleen, visibly moved in the Bush Telegraph, confessed: “Knowing that I have made it to the final makes me proud. I’m a proud mum, I’m a proud wife, I’m a proud daughter, but it’s very rare that I’m proud of myself, so this is significant. It’s not often I put myself first, so these are tears of joy! “.

As the episode progressed, viewers saw Richard Coles get the boot, while Coleen and Danny just missed the axe.

After a shock exit on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, the former Twitter platform, now dubbed X, was in uproar as fans poured out their reactions.

Someone raged: “Richard should have won.. fix.” Another agreed: “Absolute fix to have Coleen in the final 2.” A third expressed: “This is a fix.”

Richard’s exit comes after his fellow campmate GK Barry, during her exit interview this week, joked how if he didn’t win, it was a ‘fix’.

Another another part of the episode, celebs Danny, Coleen and Richard battled it out in their final Bushtucker trial titled ‘The Towers of Terror. They triumphed, securing themselves a fancy three-course meal and beverages for their camp’s last supper.

Post-trial, Coleen breathed a sigh of relief: “I’m glad it’s all over.” A delighted Danny reflected on the journey: “Super proud of ourselves, it’s been an amazing journey and honestly, what a way to go out! ” Richard capped off with good humour, jesting: “I’m immensely proud, but we just don’t smell great!”
