Strictly Come Dancing star JB Gill is currently on tour but his wife has since shared a family update after their daughter was rushed to hospital

JB Gill’s wife, Chloe, was inundated with messages of support after she announced their youngest daughter was taken to A&E.

The JLS bandmate, 38, is currently on the Strictly Come Dancing: Live Tour, as his other half shared an update on a family emergency.

Sharing a photo on Friday evening of their seven-year-old daughter Chiara with an IV drip and a bandaged hand, Chloe said she was forced to listen to her “gut” when their little one fell ill.

She wrote: “When you get that gut feeling you can’t shift, this is your reminder to ALWAYS listen to it! I ended up taking Kiki to A&E a few days ago as I wasn’t happy with her eye, she didn’t have a stye she ended up having Periorbital Cellulitis and needing IV Anti-bitoics straight away to get it under control.”

Fortunately, their daughter is slowly on the mend as Chloe thanked staff at the hospital.

Chloe added: “She’s finally on the mend and turning the corner, I can’t thank all the doctors and nurses in the Pedeatictis department at @kingscollegehospital and hospital at home team, Rachael & Kelly enough for being so lovely to her and looking after her your job is invaluable and we appreciate you all so much!

“Thank you to the NHS you really are living angels!!” before adding the hashtags “#nhsheroes #appreciation #grateful.”

Her 69,700 followers flocked to the comment section as they offered their support.

Pal Rochelle Humes wrote: “Love you baby girl.”

Another penned: “Awww KiKi. Glad she’s on then mend now.”

A third said: “Aww bless her hope it heals soon,” while a fourth added: “Trust your gut always. Get well soon baby girl.”

The news comes after JB made his debut on the Strictly live tour which kicked off in Birmingham on Friday (January 17).

Originally partnered with Amy Dowden on the BBC show, the singer and father was forced to swap professionals to Lauren Oakley half-way through the series after Amy suffered an injury.

JB has been married to Chloe Gill (nee Tangney) since 2014, after the pair met whilst Chloe was a back-up dancer for JLS.

They have two children together, a son named Ace who was born in 2014 and a daughter called Chiara in 2018.
