Chris McCausland has issued a warning to fans while his dancing partner Dianne Buswell was seen returning to dancing for the first time since they won Strictly Come Dancing together.
Chris – who was the show’s first-ever blind contestant and winner – and professional dancer Dianne were paired together for the 20th-anniversary series of the show in September and were eventually crowned champions of the 2024 series following a glittering finale in December.
They fought off competition from fellow finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to lift the famous Glitterball trophy, which Chris as ‘astonishing’.

But it appears Chris’ fans are facing a bit of a nightmare when it comes to his own headline shows, which are already sold out until April. He wrote on X, formerly Twitter, this week: “Please only buy tickets for my tour direct from a venue or official ticket sellers and not from unknown individuals or Facebook groups, unfortunately there are scams. If a venue is sold out, new shows are still being added here and there.”
But that’s not all that will be keeping Chris busy as the 47-year-old revealed his next project. It’s been revealed that Chris has signed with Penguin Michael Joseph to write a memoir due for publication in autumn 2025. Chris has said of releasing his own autobiography: “I thought Strictly was terrifying but my book has a release date and I haven’t started writing it yet. Don’t worry, I’m going to start right now. It will be really funny, I promise.”
