The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin have blasted Brittany Mahomes for her lack of ‘politically savvy’ over her alleged support of Donald Trump.

The pair both hit out at the Kansas City Chiefs WAG, who is close friends with Taylor Swift and married to NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, while discussing new reports that she’s been ‘questioning her support’ for Donald after he publicly attacked the singer following her endorsement of presidential rival Kamala Harris.

‘He’s politically activating her army of Swifties, and there are also rumors that her best friend Brittany Mahomes who was hit with backlash for liking a pro-MAGA post is rethinking her alleged support,’ Whoopi said on Wednesday’s episode of The View.

‘Some could say, because he’s mad at your best friend, now you’re mad? It didn’t bother you that he was being a racist and being a misogynist and… that didn’t get you going?’ Whoopi added to rapturous applause from the audience.

Sunny echoed a similar sentiment as she weighed in on Brittany and mentioned her marriage to NFL star Patrick Mahomes, who is biracial.

‘It just seems to me that since she is in an interracial marriage, she should have known that to support a racist is problematic,’ Sunny stated.

‘Her children are biracial and her family is one of the families that in the ’70s could not have lived in any of Donald Trump’s buildings, so it just seems to me that maybe she’s just not that politically savvy or maybe she’s just not read in, but it’s problematic.’

Joy Behar also chimed in by sharing a theory that Trump is simply ‘jealous’ of Taylor.

‘Because she’s a beautiful, accomplished, very wealthy woman who doesn’t like him and he’s an old racist in platform shoes, let’s face it. Next he’ll say she’s eating a dog. I know that’s coming up,’ she said.

Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a post about Trump, 78, on social media.

Weeks later, Taylor, 34, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris’ bid for president – an action that drove a reported 338,000 visits to the federal voter registration website after she shared a link on Instagram.

Trump hit back in predictably blistering style on his Truth Social platform, claiming, ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT’ – prompting Brittany, 29, to reportedly ‘question’ if she will continue to support his campaign.

In August, eagle-eyed users caught the soon-to-be mother of three liking a Trump post mapping out 16 of his policies to his 26.3million followers; ranging from topics on immigration to the economy.

Following the presidential debate on September 10, Taylor revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that she would be voting for Kamala in November.

She did not attack or call out Trump personally but she signed her backing of Harris with: ‘Childless Cat Lady.’

It is a reference to Trump’s running mate Sen. J.D. Vance, who said in a 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson that the U.S. is being run by Democrats, corporate oligarchs and ‘a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.’

Taylor also encouraged her millions of followers to do their research on the election and register to vote with a link she shared of vote.gov on her Instagram story sharing her grid post.

Hundreds of thousands of people – over 338,000 – clicked on the link from Swift’s story.

More than 11 million people liked the image Swift posted of herself with one of her three cats named after a fictional character, Benjamin Button.
