After Joe Biden dropped out of the Presidential elections in July, the Democrats’ hope of winning the elections was washed away.
However, thanks to Kamala Harris, who later filed for her Presidential nomination, she has been keeping hopes alive for her party.
And now that only a few months are left before the elections, even WNBA stars are putting forth their thoughts.
The Chicago Sky star Brianna Turner recently shared her disappointment with the American citizens who come to use social media platforms to look for the candidates’ policies.
Turner gave her opinion without mincing words that it is “cringe” and she doesn’t want such questions to be looked for on a social platform.
“I cringe anytime I see “but what are their policies?” in reference to presidential candidates. I beg yall to learn how to use a search engine instead of depending on social media to answer all your pertinent election questions 😭,” wrote Turner.

While both Trump and Harris are appealing to their audiences, there are a lot of citizens who haven’t read the manifesto.
According to Turner, political understanding of the elections might help citizens to cast their votes.
However, an interesting point to note is that this statement came days after her teammate Angel Reese didn’t break her silence on a question about Harris.
Reese, before her team’s Sunday contest against the Phoenix Mercury, was asked to share her thoughts on Harris.
The 22-year-old admitted to not being politically informed and instead took the opportunity to urge her fans to go out and vote. “
I haven’t been able to tap a lot into the political election and everything going on. So, I’m not that educated right now but just continue to learn and just give feedback. But, everybody go out there and vote,” Reese stated.
Previously also, Turner had been vocal about elections.
Brianna Turner shares her take on the importance of elections
Turner, in July, had tweeted about the importance of elections. She reflected on the powers of the President and how that could affect the entire system.
The 28-year-old had opined that the POTUS election is not just a “4 year decision.” She argued that the President has the power to nominate the Supreme Court judges and hence it is a “40 year decision dependent upon SCOTUS selections.”
Therefore, she urged her fans to follow the elections and be well-informed about them.
Looks like Turner is really keen on making changes in the system via informed opinions.
Hopefully, her fans will pay heed to her tweets, and Reese’s words will also be heard by her followers, who will go out there to vote.
Till November approaches, fans can spend time knowing more about the candidates and make the best choice for themselves.
